She spent the first 20 years of her life growing up in Alaska, which has many months of cold and darkness. This inspired her to use unconventional materials to create a space indoors filled with colorful art and interesting designs. After moving to Florida, she earned her Masters Degree in Art Education, and spent 8 years teaching public and private school students about art. Having missed the time to create her own work, she decided quit teaching to follow her passion and became a full time artist.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\" class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cspan lang=\"EN-US\"\u003eGuided by her fascination with different cultures, communities, and fashion, Amy merges digital design with various materials and textures.
